Our biomedical engineering projects include: predictive modeling – finite element modeling, statistical modeling, machine learning and artificial intelligence – , movement analysis, instrumentation and control, mechanical and electrical engineering, design, development and evaluation of medical devices, and footwear design.

As an example, plantar pressure assessment of the diabetic Charcot neuropathic foot could save a patient from developing ulcers, gangrene and requiring an amputation.
